With over eight years of experience coaching youth sports, Mark believes in the power of mentorship and giving back to the next generation. As the President and co-founder of Hill Country Heroes, he champions the needs of Military/Veterans, First Responders, and Gold Star families. His organization works to ensure these heroes and their families receive the resources, support, and recognition they deserve, building a stronger, more compassionate community in the process.
Mark is a family man, devoted to his wife, Courtney, and their two children, Peyton and Weston. Whether he’s leading community initiatives, mentoring young athletes, or enjoying the Texas outdoors, Mark is always guided by a commitment to service, gratitude, and making a positive impact.

Barbara McEachern has a dedicated heart for organizations like Hill Country Heroes and has spent much of her life volunteering for organizations such as this one. While she was raising three children and working full-time, she still found time to volunteer at her church, children’s schools, and other non-pro#ts, also serving as Treasurer for many of these organizations. She wanted to instill in her children how important it was to help others.It appears that Barbara achieved her goal. As you can see her son, Mark McEachern, is one of the founders and President of Hill Country Heros, and she was honored and humbled when he asked her to become the Treasurer for this organization.
Courtney McEachern is a woman whose heart is as warm as her kitchen. A devoted wife, mother, and community supporter, Courtney finds her greatest joy in bringing people together, whether through her role with Hill Country Heroes or around the family table. Known for her delicious baking and home-cooked meals, Courtney sees food as a way to create memories, connection, and comfort for those she loves. Every meal and treat she prepares is a reminder of her love and care for her family.

Katy Thom is a dedicated individual whose life has been shaped by both love and loss, as a Military Widow, Katy has faced profound challenges with unwavering strength and grace. She is the proud mother of two boys, raising them right with the same commitment and love she brings to all aspects of her life.
Katy's passion for helping others is who she is, she is involved and actively supports various causes, particularly those that benefit Military Families. Channeling her passion into a cause that holds deep personal significance, she finds fulfilment in her work as the Secretary for Hill Country Heroes, an organization dedicated to honoring and supporting Military, Veterans, First Responders and Gold Star Families. Katy works to ensure that those who have severed and sacrificed are recognized and cared for.
Jillian Franke is a dedicated Executive Assistant with a vibrant and outgoing personality. At 34 years old, she has spent the last 12 years in Texas, where she has built a fulfilling life with her two children. For the past 8 years, Jillian has been a part of Texas A&M, where her passion for helping others shines through in her work.
Jillian finds immense joy in supporting those around her, both professionally and personally. Outside of work, she cherishes the peace and tranquility of nature. Hoover Ranch has been a source of solace and happiness over the years.
Additionally, Jillian has a deep love for cooking, which she expresses through creating delicious meals for her family and friends. Her kitchen is often filled with laughter and the delightful aromas of her culinary creations.

Christopher Dees is a proud volunteer with Hill Country Heroes Texas and has dedicated 18 years of service as an active-duty member of the U.S. Army. With over 30 years of hunting experience, Christopher has a special passion for bow hunting and eagerly shares his expertise with others. He is married to Schyler and is a proud father to Rileigh and Cayden. A strong advocate for the Gold Star Program, he believes in its mission to educate and inspire the next generations of hunters.
Steve Lowe is a volunteer guide for Hill Country Heroes Texas. He is married with 3 children. He is currently serving in the Army with 18 years active-duty service. He has 20 years hunting experience. He enjoys hunting Deer, hogs, dove, elk, and hopefully exotics one day,
He volunteers to give back to the veteran community and spread the love of hunting. The Gold Star Program is his favorite part of the organization. The thought of an organization continuing to help his children grow and continue something that he is very passionate about if he were to give the ultimate sacrifice for his country allows him to give his time and energy now.
Clayton Hendricks is a proud veteran who served in the military for eight years. Married for 17 years and a devoted parent to three children, Clayton finds joy in the great outdoors. Whether it’s hunting, fishing, or tending to his property, he embraces a hands-on approach to life and cherish time spent with family and nature.
